Needless to say, ambulances see their fair share of contamination. Some of it is the run-of-the-mill dirt and grime from being used regularly but ambulances bring an additional component of medical and health related contaminants. Some of these contaminants can be very harmful to not only to staff but also to future passengers and patients.
This is a great unit to sanitize air and environmental surfaces in ambulances.
The health risk to future occupants is why all ambulances must have regular and thorough cleaning of instruments and surfaces. Nowadays though, with the rapid proliferation of antibiotic resistant bacteria, putting an ultraviolet layer of cleaning is a very worthwhile endeavor.
Our GermAwayUV Ambulance Disinfection Systems are designed to make UV disinfecting an ambulance quick and easy. With two options available, 55W and 95W, the 95W is the most powerful mountable system in the industry. Simply mount the unit in your desired location within the ambulance and plug it into your AC converter. Using the system is very straightforward, when nobody is in the ambulance, simply hit the switch and let the power of the 253.7 nanometer ultraviolet light denature and destroy the DNA of harmful microorganisms.
Please be sure to never run the system when there are occupants in the ambulance. Wear UV safety glasses and personal protective equipment anytime you are operating any UV equipment.

How do I know it is actually working?!
Our customers often ask us how they know that the Xtreme 55 Watt Mountable UV-C Sanitizer is actually working. It is a pretty reasonable question to ask. After all, the disinfection that UV-C provides is happening at a microscopic level. This is why we have started including a set of free UV-C Visualizer Strips along with all GermAwayUV Surface Disinfection products. Simply put the UV-C Visualizer card on the surface that you wish to disinfect and run the system for the amount of time you plan to use for full disinfection. After running the unit for a cycle the yellow strip on the card should change from a bright yellow to a light green. If there is no color change then you need to either slow down the rate at which you disinfect or place the substrate closer to the mountable unit.
